Project management assistance for a listed group's TMS & Connectivity project

To optimize cash management and banking connectivity, the customer launched a migration project to a new TMS, following a call for tenders which resulted in the selection of the Kyriba solution. The project was part of a global initiative to secure payments, improve reporting and manage liquidity. The main objectives were to rapidly deploy the new TMS, reinforce the security of financial flows, optimize cash flow visibility and facilitate integration with banking partners.

The mission began with assistance during the RFP, which led to the selection of Kyriba from among 5 vendors consulted. This RFP phase enabled us to refine the functional and technical requirements through various workshops and Proof of Concept sessions with the editors. A project scoping phase followed the selection of the TMS, in order to define the project subdivision and the 2-year roadmap. The functional scope was mainly as follows: - Cash & Liquidity - Cash flow forecasting - Bank Account Management - FX management - Financing - Bank communication A major challenge was quickly identified in banking communication, with the migration of 3 existing Swift bureau services to a single bureau service with high payment volumes. The project management assistance involved several key stages:‍ - Project management: coordination of the various phases, progress monitoring, coordination of project committees and risk management‍ - Change management: definition of support strategy, regular communication with users, organization of training sessions and drafting of teaching materials - Acceptance and testing: drawing up test plans, coordinating acceptance phases, tracking anomalies and validating deliverables‍ - Go-live and hypercare support: prepare go-live, monitor deliverable compliance and support business teams during go-live.
