Background and objectives mission
As part of the digital transformation of a branch of one of our customers, the group launched a vast project to modernize its Finance and Purchasing tools, with the deployment of S/4 HANA and Ivalua. The aim was to streamline and harmonize processes, improve data quality and reliability, and enhance financial management performance. This 3-year strategic project was also designed to support the Group's growth and meet increased regulatory and operational requirements.
approach adopted
The project consisted of several phases: scoping, design, implementation, acceptance, and then the switch to production, with three deployment waves. Emerson A&C was responsible for program management, steering multi-disciplinary teams and chairing project committees. Business support (AMOA) helped structure and prioritize requirements, coordinate key user resources and manage the workload. A specific project was dedicated to data migration and quality, with the implementation of transformation and control tools. Last but not least, enhanced support was provided for controlling, to guarantee the consistency of data and processes during the changeover.
