Background and objectives mission
Our customer, a major player in the self-storage sector, was looking to modernize its budget preparation process, in order to better manage its operational and financial performance. The main objective was to make the budgeting process more reliable and optimize it, using an innovative EPM solution capable of meeting growing needs for simulation, analysis and collaboration. This project was part of an overall approach to transforming the finance function, aimed at enhancing data quality, responsiveness and the company's ability to anticipate, while facilitating the appropriation of tools by business teams.

The assignment began with an in-depth scoping of functional and technical requirements, followed by a detailed analysis of the existing situation and a structured collection of stakeholder expectations. An audit of existing financial and organizational processes and tools identified priority areas for improvement. On this basis, a critical assessment of the information systems was carried out, leading to the definition of target processes and the selection of the Pigment EPM solution and its integrator. Support continued with a project management role, including assistance with design, acceptance, changeover and production start-up, as well as change management and user training.
