Background and objectives mission

Our customer wanted to pool its accounting and administrative functions in order to group these activities within regional teams, for greater efficiency and consistency. At the same time, the company was embarking on a project to upgrade its financial information system, in particular with the implementation of Sage X3 ERP, in order to modernize its tools. The main objective of the assignment was to support the finance teams in the implementation of this accounting hub, by aligning accounting and administrative processes with a centralized and harmonized organization. The aim was to guarantee data reliability, improve the quality of procedures and facilitate regional financial management.

The assignment began with the definition and implementation of target processes adapted to the context of pooling. An important part of the project involved change management, to ensure that the finance teams were able to assimilate the new operating methods and tools, in particular the Sage X3 ERP. The consultant accompanied the acceptance of the target Finance information system, ensuring functional and technical validation before going into production. At the same time, he set up accounting procedures adapted to the shared organization. Finally, support was provided during the Hub's operational start-up, with follow-up during the first few months to stabilize processes and correct any malfunctions.
