Preparing for my interview
1 - Telephone interview
To validate the alignment between the candidate's project and the opportunities at Emerson audit & conseil.
2 - HR interview (video or face-to-face)
- In-depth presentation of the firm (history, training courses, internal life).
- Discussion of the candidate's academic and professional background.
- Discussion focused on the division/job for which the candidate is applying.
3 - Interview with associates/operatives (video or face-to-face)
- Presentation of the firm from a business and operational angle.
- Candidate assessment via a technical challenge and discussion of their vision of the job.
- Sharing of experience by the speakers (missions, development) and open question time.
4 - Taking reference
Gather feedback (written and/or oral) from former managers to validate the candidate's experience and interpersonal skills.

Job description
As part of our growth, we are seeking a Junior Consultant (M/F) – Finance Department for our new Lyon office. As part of our Consulting division, you will support Finance Departments in their projects and provide operational assistance in their core business areas:
- Consolidation, Controlling & IFRS Expertise
- Optimizing the finance function
- Support for ecological transition (CSR issues)
- Treasury & Financial Risk Management
- Audit & Internal Control
- Digitization & Performance Management
- Support for accounting departments
Our consulting division serves a portfolio of companies from the CAC 40 and SBF 120 indices, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, energy, services, banking, insurance, and more.
Salary starting at €35,000 per year.
Profile description
As part of our growth, we are opening an office today for our consulting services in Lyon, near the Part-Dieu train station:

After earning a master’s degree from a business school or university (Master CCA/DSCG), you have at least one year of experience at an audit firm and wish to transition into consulting; you have at least one year of experience at an audit firm and wish to transition into consulting. You also have:
- A true team spirit and great interpersonal skills for our project-based missions, in constant contact with clients
- Experience in the following areas is preferred: IFRS, Consolidation, Solvency II, Internal Control
- Mastery of English to develop with CAC40 clients and their subsidiaries
